The project is an entry into the 2010 LED-contest. The concept is to bring the theatre sensation
out into the public space giving everyone a chance to be in the spotlight.
The place that was chosen is not only one of the icons of Milan but also the heart of theatre in the world.
Right in front of Teatro alla Scala on the Piazza della Scala.
The project places four 5m high poles on each corner of the square. Mounted on top is a follow spot and a camera.
The cameras are programmed to recognize faces and movements. The spotlight will turn on and the light will follow
people for a short period of time before jumping randomly to the next person.
